Post Hurrican Milton SCV Update 10.10.24 3:30pm

Published October 10th, 2024

We are pleased to share some positive news! This afternoon, Tony and El visited Sea Club V for an initial inspection, and we’re happy to report that despite a direct hit from Category 3 Hurricane Milton, the damage appears to be minimal. We’re all a bit amazed by this outcome, but we certainly aren’t complaining!

The main issues include some roof damage, damage to the third-floor walkway roof, awnings, and—you guessed it—more sand, along with a few miscellaneous items. Thankfully, the flooding was not nearly as severe as it was during Hurricane Helene.

As we continue to assess the situation, we will share pictures as they come in, and more videos will be posted on the Sea Club V YouTube page.

Tomorrow, we will be reaching out to our contractors to get them back on-site as soon as possible to continue with the recovery efforts. We will keep you all updated as we move forward. We will obviously develop a schedule as all the pieces start to come in.
