Sea Club V sustained significant damage from Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, saltwater entered all first-floor units, and the A/C units behind the buildings were submerged in salt water, with some displaced from their bases. The spa and pool have also filled with sand and saltwater, and efforts to remove approximately three feet of sand from the parking lots are underway.
We are working closely with insurance carriers and contractors to assess the damage and begin the water extraction and remediation process. Sea Club V will remain closed until further notice, and the recovery process is expected to take several months.
Our official Facebook page has been compromised and we are working on repairing the page. Management and the board will be sending email notifications to all the owners with further details on our progress. We understand there are many questions and will do our best to keep everyone informed as we navigate this challenging time. Please be patient as this historic event was the most devastating storm in Sea Club V's 44 year history.
